Step 1

Contact

You respond online to one of our vacancies or apply spontaneously. You send your CV, motivation letter and all your details. 

Step 2

Selection

Your CV and motivation letter will be screened. During a telephone interview, your basic skills and motivation will be tested, and mutual expectations regarding the job will also be discussed. This is followed by an initial selection interview with HR and/or the direct manager.

Step 3

Second interview

To gain a better insight into the job, the expectations and your knowledge, we go through a case together. This makes it clear to both you and us whether the job is right for you. On the basis of this, your route plan and contract will also be drawn up. You will also receive a personal tour of the company.

Step 4

Onboarding

Everything is discussed in concrete terms, such as your trajectory and training plan. It will become clear which knowledge and skills you will acquire in the first weeks and later. This is drawn up together with your direct manager. You also get to know your godmother. If applicable, you will be provided with personal protective equipment and/or work clothing. 

Step 5

Welcome moment

By means of a tour of the office and/or the yard you get to know your colleagues from the very first moment. In addition, you go through the welcome brochure together with HR. You will also receive training in all relevant business software and work procedures.

Step 2

Selection

Your CV and motivation letter will be viewed and contact will be made by telephone. During the interview, your basic skills and motivation will be briefly tested. A date is also scheduled for a selection interview with Stefaan (HR) and/or the direct manager.

Step 3

Let's talk

We meet at Verstraetebouw. During a conversation we get to know each other better, we talk about your job and we see if it suits you like a glove. You will also receive a personal tour of the company.

Step 4

Prevention

You meet our prevention advisor, Franck. He explains everything about safety on the construction site. You will also be provided with personal protective equipment and/or work clothing. 

Step 5

Welcome moment

You get to know your team right away on the first day, so you immediately start working on site. If you have any questions, you can always contact the site coordinator. In the evening you can always pop into the office for a short while. This way you get to know everyone quickly. 

Step 6

Succession

Your process will be monitored together with the site coordinator. During a conversation, your personal experience and growth will be discussed. We will discuss the further course of action together.
